ALAMEDA — Island High School and Ruby Bridges Elementary in Alameda were briefly locked down Wednesday morning due to a report of a shots fired, police said.Both schools, located on the western side of the island, were locked down just before 8:30 a.m.,green bay packers jerseys cheap, after a person reported hearing shots fired near the high school on the 1900 block of Third Street, according to Alameda police.Police said the lockdown was lifted about 8:50 a.m. and that officers later learned the alleged shooting may have instead been reported near Webster Street and Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway.As of 9 a.m., police had not confirmed a shooting but officers remained in the area near the elementary school as a precaution.Check back for more details.Contact Natalie Neysa Alund at 510-293-2469.
